An-Najah News -  Today, Wednesday, the occupation forces closed the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus, and prevented citizens from reaching its vicinity.

 

The mayor of Sebastia, Mohamed Azem, said that the occupation forces stormed the archaeological site in the town with military reinforcements, accompanied by a bulldozer.

 

He pointed out that all this comes as a prelude to the entry of groups of settlers into the town

 

He added that there is a large military presence at all the entrances to the town and in the street leading to the archaeological area, and shop owners were prevented from opening them.
