An-Najah News - Russia announced over 10K new cases, on Tuesday, increasing the total number of infections to 155,370. 

It also confirmed new death cases, as 95 died in the last 24 hours, boosting the total toll to 1,451. 

It also that half of these new infections are in centeral Russia and added that 49.1% of the new cases are asymptomatic. 

In the meantime, scientists and doctors around the world are concerned of these cases who don't experience any symptoms, since these cases can help spread the virus to other people without them knowing that they are infected. 

As in other countries, last week, The Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, was diagnosed with COVID-19 last Thursday. 

While other European countries are getting ready to ease the lockdown procedures since the number of daily infections decreased, the number of new cases in Russia started to increase. However, the number of deaths in Russia still way less than other European countries such as, UK, Italy and Spain. 

Despite the peak in the number of new infections, The Russian President, Putin, announced that they will ease the lockdown measures starting from the 12th of May.
