An-Najah News - The administration of President Joe Biden, ordered U.S. immigration enforcement agencies to stop using the controversial term “illegal alien” to refer to immigrants.
“New York Times” newspaper said that this term was common under former President Donald Trump, as it frequently issued in statements and news releases by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as Customs and Border Protection.
The top official at Customs and Border Protection, Troy Miller, stated in his memorandum: “As the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, we set the tone and example for our country and our partners across the world.”
