An-Najah News - The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that 21 people were killed and 3 others were injured in a bus crush with a truck on the eastern desert road in Assyut governorate.

Khaled Mujahid, the official spokesperson for the Minister of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, stated that immediately after the accident, 36 equipped ambulances hastened to the scene to transfer the deaths and the injuries to the hospital.

He also pointed out that the damage ranged from bruises, fractures, and lacerations in separate parts of the body, stressing that all the surrounding hospitals were full prepared, and that all the injured cases received the necessary treatment and medical care.
