An-Najah News - A spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hami Aksoy, condemned the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by Kosovo, and its intention to open an embassy in the city under occupation.

Aksoy said in a statement this evening, Wednesday, that this pledge constitutes a violation of international laws, including United Nations resolutions on this issue.

He continued, "It is clear that any step in this direction will not serve the Palestinian cause and harm the vision of a two-state solution."
