An-Najah News - US President Joe Biden pledged, in his first interview since he was sworn in, that none of his family members would work in the White House.
Biden told "People" magazine that his administration will closely resemble the administration of former President Obama, without family involvement as much as it was in the White House of former President Donald Trump.
He stressed that "no member of our family or our extended family will participate in any government project or foreign policy, and no one has an office in this place (the White House)."
Trump family members played an important role in his administration, with his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner serving as senior advisers in the White House, despite their forfeiting government salaries.
