An-Najah News - Today, Tuesday, the 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit be held in the Saudi Al-Ula tourism region, at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
According to the Qatar News Agency, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, left Doha for Al-Ula to participate in the Gulf summit, where he heads his country's delegation.
This came after Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah announced that an agreement had been reached to open the borders and airspace between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The Kuwaiti official added that all parties emphasized what Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed that the Kingdom's policy under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz is based on a firm approach based on achieving the supreme interests of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries, indicating that the Kingdom is making all its efforts to the benefit of the people of the Gulf and Arab countries. And to achieve its security and stability.
The Saudi Crown Prince affirmed that the summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf will be a summit that unifies the word, unifies the class and promotes the path of good and prosperity.
He added that the summit will translate the aspirations of King Salman and his brothers, the leaders of the GCC states, in terms of reunification and solidarity in facing the challenges in our region need of unity, reunification, and gathering the word.
