An-Najah News -  A Syrian soldier was killed and three others were wounded Wednesday early morning as a result of the bombing of the occupation targeting a military basis Damascus, according to Syrian military sources

The source stated, according to what was reported by the Syrian official media, that "at exactly 1:30 in the morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression with bursts of missiles from northern Galilee, targeting a unit of our air defense in the Nabi Habil area in the Damascus countryside.".

"Our air defense media intercepted some of the aggression's missiles, which resulted in the rise of a martyr, wounding three soldiers, and material losses," he added.

There was no official comment from the occupying power. An army spokesman said only, "We do not comment on reports published in the foreign media."

The Syrian air defenses confronted, after midnight on Tuesday, an Israeli aggression in the countryside of Damascus, according to the official "SANA" news agency.
