An-Najah News - The 50-year-old British citizen, Jonathan Bailey, has documented his suicide, in a live broadcast on Facebook.

Pelly posted a video for his suicide on social media "Facebook", where dozens of people who watched the video asked him to stop but they failed, according to the newspaper "Mirror".

Pelly informed his followers that he had decided to end his life before he began broadcasting, but the live broadcast continued, according to what the British newspaper quoted people who had watched the video.

According to reports, "Facebook" was subjected to harsh criticism after the incident, for not interfering and stopping the live broadcast, which was watched by more than 400 people, and later deleted.

In response to these criticisms, a Facebook spokesperson stated that the company was standing with Pelly’s family at such a difficult time, adding that the broadcast was deleted very shortly after it was published, and another post was removed from the Pelly page at the request of his family.
