An-Najah News - Nablus - The latest announced global count showed the number of COVID-19 deaths during the past 24 hour. The world has recorded as of this evening, 5,330 infections, most of them in the United States, including 38 deaths in 10 Arab countries, while the world has today recorded about 72 thousand new confirmed cases, of whom 2,238 in 14 Arab countries.

This brings the death toll in the world to 159,475 deaths, while the number of infected people reached more than two million and 320 thousand people in 210 countries and regions around the world, according to the announced global statistics.

Statistics revealed that the world has recorded 595,000 infections so far.

The USA still comes in the first place in the number of deaths (38,623 deaths) and in the number of infections as well (734 thousand infections), followed by Italy that has recorded 23,227 deaths and 175,952 infections. In the third place comes Spain, as they have recorded 20,043 deaths and 191,726 infections.

On the Arab countries’ level, 14 countries announced today the death of 38 people affected by corona virus, and the discovery of 2,238 new confirmed cases.

Statistics indicated that 10 Arab countries announced today new deaths from the virus: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Somalia and Palestine, while 4 other countries recorded new confirmed infections.
