An-Najah News - Nablus - The Chinese authorities have reopened the largest market for live animals in Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak of the corona virus, although it is likely linked to the spread of the disease.
The media reported in China, today, Wednesday, that about 90 percent of the stores have resumed their work, after lifting the closure imposed by the authorities last January to contain the virus.
The authorities banned the circulation of live wild animals or livestock to curb the spread of the virus, especially in light of reports that linked the spread of coronavirus to bats that were being sold in the city
The news comes as Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison criticized WHO's support for reopening wet markets in Wuhan.
