An-Najah News - Yedioth Ahronoth - revealed this morning, Sunday, that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the chairman of Blue and White party, Benny Gantz, made progress in the negotiations that took place yesterday with the aim of forming a unity government and to confront the coronavirus epidemic.
Informed sources from both parties indicated that Netanyahu and Gantz reached new understandings, and they are expected to meet today in order to sign an agreement to form the government aimed at dealing with the spread of the coronavirus.
They affirmed that there is nothing left for the parties except for the distribution of jobs and positions among themselves, especially in the places where they agreed to receive equal representation, such as the Ministry of Justice.
Gantz also agreed to support the decision to allow Netanyahu to head the government and remain in the Knesset, despite his condemnation of corruption cases.
