An-Najah News - Facebook announced the launch of a new video chat service via virtual “rooms” through which users can visit their friends via video.
Now Facebook Messenger users can video chat with the participation of 50 people at most and for an open period, even if they do not have Facebook accounts.
Facebook said that the new “chat rooms”, which Facebook called “Messenger Rooms” are intended for social gatherings with friends and family members, be it for a birthday celebration or any happy occasion or reading club for example, unlike the platforms of “Zoom” application that focus on business meetings.
“The Messenger Rooms app is designed to be more automatic and discoverable,” said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
He continued: “I feel that we miss this in our lives in this period.”
