An-Najah News - Paris Saint-Germain has been planning to keep its Brazilian star Neymar in its ranks, despite numerous press reports that the player wants to return to his former club; Barcelona.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, the management of the Parisian club will make a great offer to the Brazilian star in order to persuade him to extend his contract during the coming period.

The newspaper said that the St. Germain administration will offer Neymar to extend his contract until 2025, with the player receiving an annual salary of 38 million euros.

The newspaper added that Barcelona will not be able to provide such salary to the player if he returns to Barcelona, which will make it difficult for the Catalan club to convince the Brazilian star to return.

Neymar is a key goal of the Catalan club next summer, despite the economic crisis that hit most European clubs recently due to the cessation of sports activity due to an outbreak of a virus
