“Xavi Hernandez and his wife, Nuria, have donated 1 million euros to help fight the pandemic” the hospital said on Twitter.

“We and Noria support the battle against the corona virus, which is being led by the Hospital Medical Clinic in Barcelona. Thanks to the donations the hospital receives, it has purchased the necessary equipment to treat the infected people and for its health workers,” Xavi said in a video clip posted on the official website of the Catalan hospital.
