An-Najah News - 138 members of the House of Representatives called on the administration of US president, Joe Biden, to press the Israeli occupation government for an immediate ceasefire in the Palestinian territories.

Members of congress said in a letter to Biden: " We call on you and your administration to facilitate the immediate cessation of the violence and press on both sides to quickly negotiate a case-fire, as the alternative is a human tragedy of unimaginative proportions".

They also called on to concern with the issues underlying the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, many of which have been postponed for a very long time".
