An-Najah News - Settler violence against Palestinians and their property became routine in the West Bank and is rarely stopped by Israeli occupation army who protect the settlers every time. Palestinian sources said

sources added that settlers ‘violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. 

In the last attacks Israeli settlers Sunday evening attacked Palestinian vehicles to the south of the West Bank city of Nablus, according to witnesses.

They confirmed that settlers threw stones at vehicles with Palestinian registration plates travelling along Nablus-Ramallah Road near al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village, south of the city, smashing their windshields.

The assailants came from the Israeli colonial settlements of Elie and Shilo.

 In Beithlehem area dozens of Israeli settlers attempted to raid al-Miswana agricultural area, which a Palestinian family in Wadi Fukin, before the villagers saw them and push them to leave .

Local sources said that the settlers were attempting to temper with the agricultural land and uproot trees as part of their attempts to set up a new colonial settlement outpost.

They added that the settlers retreated to the surrounding hills, but did not leave the area, which raises fears among the Palestinian villages of a new impending attack.
