An-Najah News - Minister of Health, Dr. Mai Al-Kailah, condemned the Israeli occupation army attack at Palestine Medical Complex, wounding a woman with a rubber bullet in her shoulder and an paramedic with a rubber bullet in his hand inside the compound's building..

Minister Al-Kailah pointed in a press statement that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the area of the medical complex around 4:30 am, and fired live bullets and tear gas canisters inside the compound, which led to two injuries with rubber bullets, in addition to cases of suffocation and panic in The ranks of patients, especially children, and an ambulance vehicle belonging to the compound was damaged.

The minister added that what increased the seriousness of the situation was the presence of patients suffering from the Covid 19-Corona virus being treated in a department designated for them, stressing that their lives were in imminent danger as a result of the teargas canisters fired inside the complex.

The Minister of Health affirmed that this attack is the second carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on hospitals within two days, as Al-Durra Hospital in the Gaza Strip was attacked by Israeli shelling, which resulted in the injury of dozens of sick children and their companions, in addition to damage to the contents of the hospital.

Palestinian medical sources said early Sunday that  a woman and a paramedic were injured as Israeli occupation forces raided the courtyards of the Palestine Medical Complex in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to medical sources and witnesses.

 

Israeli occupation soldiers fired teargas canisters and rubber-coated rounds randomly at medical staff and patients, injuring a pregnant woman by a rubber-coated round in her shoulder and a paramedic in his arm.

Others sustained suffocation from gas inhalation, while some patients were terrified as a result of the assault. An ambulance also sustained partial damage from the Israeli firing.
