An-Najah News - Syrian residents of the occupied Golan Heights observed Thursday a general strike in protest against Israel’s installation of wind turbines on agricultural lands owned by the local resident's, two were injured, said the reports. 

Israeli occupation forces fired teargas and rubber-coated metal bullets at residents who gathered in the fields earlier in the morning in an effort to prevent the installation of the turbines. 

The strike was called for by Golani organizations, which urged the public to foil the attempt to install the huge wind turbines in their lands.

Over the past two days, the Israeli forces closed a number of main roads in Golan Heights.
