An-Najah News - According to a local source, Israeli occupation forces prevented Palestinian farmers from working in their own lands in the village of Atouf, in the northern Jordan Valley.

Israeli soldiers prevented the farmers from accessing their lands and seized two bulldozers belonging to two local residents said Muataz Bsharat, an official in charge of monitoring Israeli colonial activities in the Jordan Valley.

Around 6,200 Palestinians live in 38 nomadic communities in the Jordan Valley have to obtain permission from the Israeli occupation authorities to enter and live in their communities in places earmarked for military use.

The Israeli military not only temporarily displaces the communities on a regular basis but also confiscates their farmlands, demolishes their homes and infrastructure from time to time.
