An-Najah News - Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh announced that 2,738 Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus and 19 others died of it in the occupied territories, hitting the highest daily infections since the pandemic outbreak in March.

Al-Kaileh identified the 19 new fatalities 15 from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and four others from the Gaza Strip. 

The West Bank fatalities were distributed as follows: four in Jenin governorate, three in Nablus, three in Ramallah & al-Bireh, one in Qalqilia, one in Tulkarm, one in Hebron, and two others in Jerusalem city.   

According to the latest coronavirus data, the confirmed cases in the occupied territories (West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza) reached 106,312.
