An-Najah News - According to Minister of Health Mai Alkiala 549 new infections and three deaths of coronavirus were confirmed in Palestine during the last 24 hours.

In the Gaza Strip, a total of 201 new cases were confirmed.

Alkaila said in her daily coronavirus report, that the rate of recovery stood at 88.3 percent of the total cases since the start of the pandemic in March, whereas active cases stood 10.9 percent and the death rate remained as low as 0.8 percent.

She pointed out that 40 coronavirus patients remain in intensive care, of whom 10 are on respirators.
