An-Najah News - An-Najah National University President, Prof. Maher Natsheh and a number of academic and administrative staff as well as PR team hosted a delegation from the Welfare Association (Taawon) headed by Taawon Honorary President, Mr. Munib Masri and Mrs. Yara Salem, Director General of Taawon.
The meeting aimed at discussing possible means of cooperation and complete mutual development plans with regards to renewable energy, agriculture, youth and entrepreneurship projects.
The delegation ended up touring the New Campus to learn about its faculties and different facilities such as the library and An-Najah University Museum.
An MOU was also singed between the Palestinian Child Institute and Taawon.
It aimed to support and enhance the performance and services of the Institute, and provide it with the required equipment to reach out to target categories.

Taawon is a leading independent Palestinian non-profit civil society organization, registered in Switzerland with offices in Geneva, London, Amman, Beirut, Jerusalem, and Gaza.
Since its founding in 1983, by a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectual figures, the organization has been supporting the development of Palestinian people and communities in the West Bank including Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the 1948 areas, as well as the refugee camps in Lebanon.
Across the Arab region, the organization is better known by its Arabic name, Taawon, which means “working together, hand in hand”.
