An-Najah News - The Arab Peace Initiative is the reference set by Arabs to solve the Arab-Israeli conflict, stressing that any retreat from this initiative is a weakening of the Arab-Palestinian position affirmed  Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh affirmed. 

Shtayyeh called on Muscat to play a role in a constructive Arab dialogue in order to restore the Arab unity regarding various issues.

Shtayyeh discussed  in a phone call with Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs the implications of the normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the Arab consensus regarding the Palestinian issue.

For his part, al-Said affirmed his country’s continued support to the Palestinian issue and rights, stating that the position of Oman and its Sultan is clear; “the Palestinian issue is our issue.”
