An-Najah News - According to medical sources Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian man at Zaatara checkpoint,nearr Nablus.

Israeli forces opened fire at a vehicle at Israeli military checkpoint called Zaa'tara, moderately injuring a Palestinian man and prevented the medical team from providing him medical treatment said the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers temporarily closed the checkpoint to Palestinian traffic in both directions.

Meanwhile, Israeli police spokesman claimed that the young man who was not identified, was shot after he attempted to carry out a car-ramming and stabbing attack.
