An-Najah News -  According to local residents Palestinians stopped Israeli settlers from taking over their lands in the village of Birin, to the east of the occupied southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba attempted to set up tents on Palestinian-owned lands but were forced to flee after the landowners discovered them and kicked them out.

This was not the first time settlers attempt to steal Palestinian lands by setting illegal structures on them in order to start an outpost that would grow into a settlement.
