An-Najah News - Prime Minister of Palestine Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh said that the educational process in universities will from home, except for laboratories and clinical training, postgraduate students and freshman within the protection measures.

 

The Prime Minister clarified at the start of the cabinet session today, Monday, that the decision on how to manage the educational process in schools will be clear this week after the Ministry of Education ends its meetings and coordination with experts from the Ministry of Health.

 

He added, "We will provide an amount of 40 million shekels to provide a healthy infrastructure for schools."

 

He indicated that the Minister of Finance will present to the Council a review of the financial situation and the possibilities available for salaries, "We will preserve for each of you his rights as you have entrusted us."

 

He continued, "Just few days till the end of the month, and I know the great burden on the military and civilian personnel, including doctors, nurses, specialists, teachers, and cadres of ministries and institutions. We live with you every day, and I realize the difficult circumstance."

 

With regard to the Coronavirus and its spread in Palestine, Shtayyeh said: “We are following this pandemic Corona momently the numbers of infections are stable, but they are not decreasing, and the important thing is that the rate of recovery exceeds the rate of infections.”

 

He called on citizens to take matters more seriously, saying: "Look at the world around you, the virus is returning, the infections are increasing in most countries of the world, so let us be a positive exception."
