An-Najah News - A Palestinian woman was announced dead from her wounds sustained from Israeli occupation gunfire in Jenin city. The woman was named as Daiala Samoudi, 24, according to the Health Ministry Friday afternoon.
Samoudi succumbed to her critical wounds sustained from Israeli occupation soldier's gunfire during a raid in the Jenin town neighborhood of al-Jaberiyat.
According to the ministry statement, Samoudi was hit with a live bullet that penetrated her liver, pancreas and aortic artery. She was rushed to the hospital, where several surgeries were made to her then was admitted into the intensive care unit, where she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards
Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Mahmood al-Sadi confirmed that a the martyr was hit in the chest with a bullet fired by Israeli occupation forces while in her house during the raid.
He added that the forces directly opened fire on an ambulance trying to reach and evacuate the casualty from her house, with two bullets hit the ambulance.
