An-Najah News - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said today, Tuesday, that the Negev Prison Administration began conducting corona tests, for the prisoners.

The commission stated that the examinations came after pressures and efforts by the International Red Cross, the Prisoners Authority and the Palestinian Ministry of Health, after it they found out the infection of an ex-detainee with the virus, and he was released two days before from the Negev prison.

 

The Palestinian Prisoners and Health Authority confirmed that the result of Corona's examination of the freed prisoner, Muhammad Hazin, from Qalandia camp, showed (positive), meaning that he was injured.

 

The prisoner was released last Sunday after spending nine months in the occupation prisons.

 

The Commission held the occupation government fully responsible for the prisoners ’lives, as it has not till this moment taken any seriously action to protect them from the arrival of the Coronavirus in their departments and rooms where they are being held.
