An-Najah News - The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said thAT The heat stress is set to continue to affect the region today paving the way to hot to very hot and dry conditions in daytime and relatively hot to hot conditions in nighttime

No change is expected in temperature, which remains 6°C above the seasonal average.

 Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

The heat stress is set to abate on Friday, causing temperature to drop and approach 4°C above the seasonal average and paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot conditions in other districts in daytime.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
