An-Najah News - Israeli occupation uprooted Monday around 200 olive trees in the village of Deir Istya, in northern West Bank.
Local sources in Salfit governorate said that the occupation soldiers uprooted 220 trees that were planted on 12 dunums of land owned by Hissain Zeidan and located in Area C.
The owner and residents were not allowed to reach the area during the army uprooting of the trees, said the sources.
Israeli occupation does not allow Palestinian development in Area C of the West Bank, which makes up over 60 percent of its area.
