An-Najah News - Syria stands in support to Palestinian struggle for freedom and statehood through unwavering Political solidarity to the Palestinian people in their struggle against the American so-called deal of the century, US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying state, Israel, and plans to annex Palestinian territory to the occupation state Israel.

The Syrian political stance came in a reply letter  President Mahmoud Abbas received from his Syrian counterpart, Bashar al-Assad, in which he affirmed that Syria will not hesitate to support the struggle of the Palestinian people, and we wish the President and the Palestinian people more success and strength in opposing and thwarting the American and Israeli occupation plans.

President Abbas had sent a letter to President al-Assad explaining the political efforts taken by the Palestinian leadership in confronting the American-Israeli deals , decisions and plans against Palestinian rights and also Syrian rights by recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan, and the annexation scheme of parts of the Palestinian territory, supported and with the collusion of the US administration with the Israeli government.
