An-Najah News - Ramallah - New safety restrictions as part on an ongoing national effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic were orded by prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh  following a sharp rise in the new cases reported during the past week.

Shtayyeh ordered re-activation of the local emergency committees in all the villages, cities and refugee camps in Palestine During a meeting in Ramallah with the heads of the security services.

He also ordered a full ban on all forms of public gatherings, including weddings, mourning houses, graduation parties and others.

He gave orders for imposing penalties on all those who do not abide by the safety instructions and the COVID-19 protocols of the Ministry of Health.
