An-Najah News -  According to Minister of Health Mai Alkaila a new coronavirus case was confirmed this morning in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilya, which brings the total in Palestine since March to 628.

 Alkaila said in a statement that the new case is for a 37-year-old man from the village of Hajja who got the disease after interacting with an infected person from the same area.

The new case brings the total recently discovered in the Qalqilya district to 14, including three in Hajja, 10 in Azzoun and one in Siniria.

Alkaila said her ministry is attempting to control the spread of the disease in that area by locating all those who may have been in contact with the infected people and isolating them.
