An-Najah News - Ramallah – The Palestinian Health Minister, Mai Al-Kila, revealed 5 new infections with the Corona virus, due to contact with the worker who announced his infection yesterday evening, while Tulkarm joined the non-infection governorates after the last corona case there was recovered.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, this evening, Sunday, that the infected patients include a 5-year-old child, noting that these results were issued after taking many samples from the contacts of the infected worker.

And it called on the citizens of the public once again to adhere to safety and prevention measures, to avoid social visits, in addition to the commitment of workers to home quarantine after come back from inside the green line.

This brings the number of infections recorded in Palestine to 560 infections, while the number of recovery cases reached 452 cases, or 81.4% of the total recorded infections.

The Minister of Health said that the number of active cases, i.e. still infected, has risen to 103 cases, of which 59 are in Jerusalem, 8 in Jerusalem suburbs, 30 in Hebron Governorate, 2 in Nablus Governorate, and 4 cases in the southern governorates.

She pointed to the increase in the number of governorates free from the Corona virus to 8: Tubas, Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Qalqilya, Jenin, Bethlehem, Salfit, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and Tulkarm.
