An-Najah News - Ramallah - The Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kila, announced that Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorates are free of infections from the Corona virus.

In a press statement, today, Al-Kila indicated that 7 new cases of recovery were recorded, including two in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, and 3 cases in the suburbs of Jerusalem, in addition to two cases in the city of Jerusalem.

She added that the number of corona infections totalized at 555, while recovery cases increased to 452 cases, or 81.4% of the total recorded infections.

She pointed out that all infections recorded in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate were recovered, bringing the number of governorates free from the Corona virus to 7, namely: Tubas, Jericho and Al-Aghwar, Qalqilia, Jenin, Bethlehem, Salfit, Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

The number of laboratory tests for the Corona virus increased to 45,343, from all Palestinian governorates.

She pointed out that the number of active cases, i.e. still infected, is 99, of which 59 are in the city of Jerusalem and 8 in its suburbs, 25 in the Hebron governorate, two infections in the Nablus governorate, one infection in Tulkarm Governorate, and 4 cases in the southern governorates.

And 86 new cases were introduced to the home quarantine, while the number actually present in the quarantine is 18298.

The Minister of Health explained that all the cases are in good health, and there is no case in the intensive care rooms.
