An-Najah News - Nablus - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Ya`bad with about 16 military vehicles, at Tuesday evening , accompanied by military bulldozers, closed all entrances of Ya'bad , and kept only the main eastern entrance of the town open.

The mayor of Ya'bad, Sa'id al-Kilani, said: "After (IOF) broke in, they stormed the southern area of ​​Ya`bad and surrounded it tightly,  they took over the roof of Atiya Asfours' house which is the place that israeli side claims  that a stone was thrawn on head of one of its soldiers by a palestinian , which led to his death at Tuesday  dawn."

The mayor of Ya'bad highlighted that violent confrontations are still on going in the town which resulted in the wounding of four young men by rubber bullets and dozens  cases of suffocation of tear gas. The injured were treated  by the Palestinian Red Crescent crews and the ambulance of Yabad.

In turn, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported one live injury to the chest and two rubber bullets in the confrontations of Yabid in Jenin Governorate.
According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces arrested, Tuesday afternoon, ten members of  Atiyah Asfour family, including two of his children who are 12 and 13 years old. two children who are 4 and 5 years old and their grandparent,are the only three members of the family who were not arrested.The occupation forces also arrested Four of of Farid Abu Bakr family , in addition to the arresting of four young men at Tuesday dawn, which brings the number of detainees in the town to 18 citizens till Wednesday dawn.
