An-Najah News - The Permanent Observer of Palestine to the Uniterd Nations, Riyad Mansour, informed the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in a meeting earlier today, Wednesday, on the Palestinian attitude which refuses the Israeli policy of annexation and their refusal in the case Israel announced on the start of implementing it, claiming the UN to prevent Israel and their attempts in making any progress in this issue. 

Mansour also asked the Secretary General to offer his good offices with all parties that can prevent Israel from taking any steps in their plan, since this step is can destroy any means of debates and peace in the area. Along with, intensifying the efforts in the Security General, which aims at maintaining the international peace and security, to do their duty towards the Palestinian case according to terms of reference of peaceful solutions and forming an international front to prevent the Israeli annexation plan. 

The meeting was done through visual communication technology, it included the Arab troika; the representatives of Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Lebanese Republic. 

The aforementioned Arab countries assured their refusal towards the Israeli annexation plan, which aims at annexing the occupied Arab lands including the Jordan Valley with the Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestine, according to what the Arab Secretaries of State announced recently in their meeting that was held in the 30th of April 2020. 

On his part, Gurettes assured that the United Nation's firm attitude towards the annexation, as it considers it an illegal step.
