An-Najah News - The Palestinian Prisoners' society (PPS) confirmed that that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested more than 600 resident from occupied Jerusalem since the start of 2020.
The IOF performed daily series of detentions on all the social groups from old people to children.
The PPS also added in report today, Tuesday, that despite the outbreak of COVID-19, the Israeli authorities continued their raids and violation against Palestinians, specifically in the occupied Jerusalem and added that the newest one was today at dawn.
As the IOF launched a series of raids and arrested 13 Palestinian citizens, among them, the head of the national popular conference in Jerusalem, Bilal Al-Natsheh, and his office manager, Mouath Al-Ashab, along with the general, Imad Awad.
The IOF also detained the writer and activist, Rania Hatem, Mustafa Abu Zahra, Jad Al-Ghol, and the journalist Tamer Obeidat. In addition to detaining 6 more Palestinians from Al-Issawyieh.
The PPS pointed out on the frequent arrests of the Jerusalem governor, Adnan Ghaith and the minister of Jerusalem affairs, Fadi Hadmi.
