An-Najah News - Ramallah - The Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Mai Al-Kila, announced that no cases of Corona virus have been recorded until now, but that the danger still exists. She furtherly calls on citizens to adhere to all safety and prevention measures to preserve their lives and the lives of their surroundings.

In an interview with (The Voice of Palestine) official radio, this morning, Monday, the Vice-President announced that the cabinet, at its weekly session today, will discuss the possibility of opening restaurants or places of worship, such as churches and mosques.

The virus indicated that the virus was transmitted to Palestine from foreigners and workers, who work inside the Green Line, noting that all crossings are still closed, and the conditions of workers and their contacts are being monitored, which contributed to limiting the spread of the corona virus

The Palestinian Minister of Health stressed that the national medical teams deal with citizens in all their whereabouts, whether in Jerusalem or Gaza, stressing that source for any statistics or information about the conditions in occupied Jerusalem, in relation to the corona virus is the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs .

In her response to the anxiety that prevails in the captive movement inside the occupation prisons, the representative called on the World Health Organization and the Red Cross to stand up to their responsibilities towards protecting the prisoners from the spread of the corona virus inside prison corridors.

Al-Kila affirmed that the Palestinian Prime Minister and the Palestinian Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs are in close contact with the World Health Organization and the Red Cross to follow up on the conditions of the detainees to protect them from this pandemic by asking the prison administration to provide sterilizers and all safety and protection measures.
