An-Najah News - Ramallah - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, does not miss any opportunity to confirm his disregard for the international community and the United Nations and its body and his rebellion against international legitimacy and its decisions, but rather makes any opportunity to publicly declare his anti-peace and international references, including the principles of land for peace and a two-state solution.

The ministry continued in a statement today, Monday, that Netanyahu is making use of the preoccupation of the countries with the Corona pandemic to continue implementing his promises and plans aimed at imposing Israeli law on the occupied West Bank, and boasting of its colonial intentions to annex the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea and impose Israeli sovereignty over the settlements In the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry condemned all Israeli measures practiced on the ground in preparation for such an expansionist colonial step, and considered it an extension of the occupation war that is open to our people and rights, and aimed at blocking any opportunity to establish a viable Palestinian state, geographically and sovereignly connected with its capital, the occupied East Jerusalem.

The Palestinian ministry emphasized that Netanyahu derives this arrogance, ideology and encouragement from the Trump administration and its deal, which is considered a continuous green light that pushes the occupation state to take the step of annexation, despite the Arab, Islamic, European and international consensus that rejects this Israeli approach and warns of its dangers.

The Palestinian ministry considered that the occupation is now coexisting with international condemnation statements and expressions of concern and warning about the risks of its policy. Therefore, now more than ever is required to convert the international consensus rejecting the annexation step into serious deterrent sanctions, and linking the level of state relations with the occupation with this step.
