An-Najah News - Ramallah - The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erekat, confirmed that the continued detention of a student from Birzeit University, Muhammad Majid Hassan, in Al-Maskoubiyeh Detention Center in occupied Jerusalem, despite his diagnosis of corona virus, is a flagrant violation of international law.

Erekat said in a statement that the international community and the Secretary-General of the United Nations have a responsibility to compel Israel to release him immediately to follow up on his health and take the necessary measures, and he renewed his calling for the release of all detainees, starting with the detainees suffering from illnesses, children, female prisoners, and the elderly.
