An-Najah News - Hebron - The Judicial Adviser to the Occupation Government, Avihai Mandelblit, approved a decision to confiscate the lands of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, from the Islamic Endowments Department and use them for Judaizing and settlement projects under the pretext of development and expansion.

Mandelblit's endorsement of the confiscation of land areas in the vicinity of the sanctuary and managed by the Endowment Department, in order to upgrade the place for the settlers, Jews and foreign tourists with disabilities, and to establish paths for people with disabilities to ensure their access to the Ibrahimi Mosque.

Mandelblit's endorsement of confiscation means initiating work to upgrade the paths and roads leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque, and accordingly “Bit Salem” organization he went to the Minister of Defence, Naftali Bennett, and demanded that construction work be started on the paths for people with disabilities.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, during his storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque, expressed his approval of the decision to confiscate the Mosque lands from the Islamic Endowments Department, for the sake of the paths project and projects to promote settlement in the Mosque area and the old city of Hebron.
