An-Najah News - Hebron - Today, a 12-year-old child was seriously wounded by a suspected object explosion in Yatta, south of Hebron.

The Public Relations and Information Department of the Police stated that a notification was received from the Hebron Governorate Police Operations Room from the Hebron Governmental Hospital that a 12-year-old boy had entered the emergency department with several severe wounds throughout his body.

They added that when the police arrived at the hospital, it became clear after investigations that the cause of the injury was the child's tampering with a suspicious object found while he was grazing sheep.

The police warned the citizens of the danger of tampering with any suspicious objects that might be found and moving away from it in a safe distance, and to call Hebron Police Operations Room 100 so that the specialized teams can deal with it safely.
