An-Najah News - Qadri Abu Bakr, head of the Commission of Detainees and ex-Detainees Affairs, said that the detainee, Muhammad al-Halabi, has been brought before the courts 135 times since his arrest in 2016, accusing him of transferring money, in favor of Palestinian factions, without any physical evidence or legal evidence against him.

Abu Bakr said in a phone call to the “Palestine is Here” programme, which is broadcast on An-Najah channel, that the occupation promised Al-Halabi that he would be released if he confessed.

He continued, “How can the prisoner admit to something he did not do? The accusation of the occupation of Al-Halabi is completely false, and his detention sessions may be extended without conviction before the occupation courts.”

It is noteworthy that the prisoner, Muhammad Al-Halabi, is being held in the Israeli prison, “Raymond”, in poor health. He suffers from severe headache as a result of the violent investigation practiced against him by Israeli investigators, which lost him the ability to hear, and may affect eyesight.
