An-Najah News - Nablus - The government of the Kingdom of Jordan has decided to keep the country's borders closed until after "Ramadan" May, as part of measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Jordanian Health Minister Saad Jaber stressed by saying: “The Jordanian borders and airports will remain closed until after Ramadan so that we can control our internal situation. These are initial readings and things may change from day to day.”

He also stressed that the government has prepared everything that it can, and imposed curfews, and 90% of Jordanians are committed, but there are very few that do not commit and put their family, country, and citizen at risk.

He explained that most cases of corona infection began to be confined to families only, which means that the transfer has become local.

As of Sunday night, there had been 232 new coronavirus cases, including 5 deaths.
