An-Najah News - Nablus – On Thursday, Ibraheem Melhem, The Palestinian government spokesman, has announced in a press statement 5 new cases of coronavirus after testing 35 samples, which makes the total number of infections in Palestine 160.
Ibraheem Melhem declared that 4 of these new cases, who age between 30 and 45 years old, are working in “Atrout” area, located in the occupied Jerusalem and are citizens in Sinjil and Dir Jalil villages. While the 5th case is a woman in her thirties from Biddu village in north-west Jerusalem who got infected from her husband who is one of the workers in “Atrout”.
Melhem added that these new cases are going to be put in some hotels in Ramallah and Hugo Chavez hospital in Turmusayya village, to the north of Ramallah.
New 250 labors, who are working in the same place, are supposed to come to the West Bank on Thursday afternoon with the coordination between the Civil Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor. The 250 people will be distributed on several centers in Ramallah to spend the quarantine period.
