An-Najah News - Tulkarm – The Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished today, Tuesday, a house that was under construction in village of Jabara, south of Tulkarm.

The people in the village were surprised today by the number of Israeli occupation forces that raided the village with two bulldozers, according to the head of the village council, Ihsan Tahseen.

The one-floor house that was under construction is Khalid Sheikh Hussein’s house, from Kufr Abbush village, and he had received notifications from the IOF demanding him to cease the construction because it is not licensed, so they say.

The village council’s head said this is one of the houses that are threatened to be demolished. Three houses were demolished last year, and they are still continuing, in addition to seizing agricultural caravans.

He pointed out that the arguments of the occupation to demolish the houses and empty the land from their owners are flimsy, which is an excuse for these targeted areas acquisition, especially if citizens apply for building permits the Occupation rejects them, even though they are their lands and they have proof of that.

Even if a citizen applies for a building permit, although they don’t need to because their land is their property, the occupation rejects it.
