An-Najah News - Nablus - A Palestinian expatriate rendered his son's apartment for the emergency committee in Nablus and cries live on air.
Abdulsalam, who is an expatriate living in Saudi Arabia, rendered his son’s apartment in Nablus for the emergency committee in Nablus as part of supporting his people in facing the current pandemic.
“If I had a slice of bread, I would share it with the emergency committee. All I have is my son’s apartment, therefore, if it is suitable for your use, then it is under your disposal until the end of this crisis”, said Abdulsalam in an interview with An Najah News, and added; "All of what I have is for Palestine."
“When I was young, my family was poor, and now Allah has blessed me, it is my duty to help my country. I see how nurses, doctors and police offers are not seeing their families and are on their duties to confront this virus, and I have to also do my part in supporting my country with all what I have,” he added.
He continued: “I am sure there are a lot of Palestinians who are like me, they are just looking for a chance to support the Palestinians, and I hope that all of our people will follow the governmental measures to overcome this crisis.”
Nablus governorate’s governor, Ibraheem Ramadan, expressed his happiness at the honorable model that Palestinians shall follow.
