An-Najah News - Assaf: Israel wants COVID-19 to spread in Palestine

The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Assaf, confirmed today, Sunday, that Israel is now waging a biological war against Palestine, after its failure to contain the coronavirus.

“Israel is seeking to spread coronavirus in Palestine, and it is opening all the gates of the wall along the governorates of Qalqilya and Tulkarm to facilitate smuggling of Palestinian workers who may be infected from working in Israel to their villages, without going through medical examination and quarantine," said Assaf in an interview with An Najah News.

“The successful performance of Palestine in curbing coronavirus stunned Israel,” he added.

Assaf stressed that Palestine had succeeded in controlling the epidemic in the areas it controls and administers, adding that this worked until " Israel began to leave workers without treatment and send them back to the West Bank without coordination with the Palestinian medical sevices."
